During the 2017 Global Supplier Summit, organized last May at Flex’s Customer Innovation Center, in the heart of Silicon Valley, the OMP Mechtron Group was awarded as one of the preferred suppliers in 2017.

OMP has more than 30 years of presence in the market. Starting from 2009, OMP opened its first productive plant abroad in Shanghai, and started to enlarge its business, reaching new markets and new countries. OMP Mechtron’s portfolio ranges from subracks, faceplates, mechanical piece parts, Boxes & Cabinets, to electronic integration and microwave. This has helped to make OMP Mechtron an established leader in the production of 19” Rack and ETSI, 19” Subracks, CPCI and metrics.

The partnership between OMP and Flex has been globally active for many years and is supported by OMP Mechtron’s capability to offer turn-key solutions while establishing a strategic partnership with its customers.

Being a partner of a worldwide leader like Flex was a very important driver for the OMP Group in order to stabilize its know-how inside a well-known market like telecommunications and to emerge in new expansion markets like renewable energies.
